Series of gouache paintings, 2015

Here's some paintings of characters we all should know. I painted these paintings during the year in Minnesota. I was inspired by Chuck Close paintings. I wanted to paint characters that are known worldwide. The Spock was the first one and I painted it after Mr. Leonard Nimoy passed away to honor his memory. The Joker was the second and the Dobby third. These paintings have been a big turning point during my career as an artist because before these paintings I haven't painted much. Thank to these paintings I started to love painting and found my own style.
